Wrote... Just purchased a John Deere 1940 "L". Starting to look around the web for parts. The tractor does run but not that great. Is going to need a lot of work and some parts. sheet metal, engine rebuild, rims and tires, and of course paint. Realy haven't found a realy good source for these parts, but still looking. At least I now know where to find the magneto.

I'm finally going to do a critique of your magneto site!! During the past month, Gene and Carol had the computer tied up and I didn't get a chance to do it. If you believe that, I have some cheap John Deere Model B's in a swamp in Florida that I can sell to you!!
